Dear North Shore Member,
Spring is here and I'd like to update everyone on some happenings at North Shore C.C.
On your next visit to North Shore you will notice all familiar faces serving you in the golf shop. Golf Professional Mark Sorenson and Assistant Golf Professionals Jon Langer and JoAnn Palazzo are eager to help you with your golf game through individual lessons, group clinics, or a lesson series. When visiting or calling please let the staff know you are a member and every attempt will be made to accommodate your needs.
With spring here and the golf course in its usual great condition, golfers will be eager to get in a round. Weekends will be particularly busy so please make your starting times well in advance so as not to miss out. We will continue to hold one additional "fill in" time per hour for members. On occasion, all regular tee times as well as the "fill in" times will be taken so please make your plans early. Walking is allowed after 3:00 pm and does require a starting time. Please check in with the golf shop prior to walking and adhere to your starting time.
Above, you will find links to a 2008 Events Calendar and a 2008 Member Golf Event Schedule. I am very excited about each of these events and urge you to mark your calendar and plan to participate.
The swimming pool will open Memorial Day weekend for the enjoyment of members and accompanied guests. Hours of operation are 10am to 8pm 7 days a week. Please sign in when visiting the pool and remember all guests must be accompanied by a member.
The tennis courts are available on a first come first served basis to members and accompanied guests only.
As in previous years, we will have a security officer at the beach access during high volume times. Please be sure to replace the blue stickers on your car with the new red stickers. Any vehicle without a current sticker is subject to being towed from the access and stickers should only be on club members' automobiles.
The Grill at North Shore is open for lunch 11am till 3pm Tuesday through Saturday and serves dinner on Friday evenings in addition to special member only events. We are also available to cater any special occasion you may be celebrating.
The restaurant service at North Shore is a direct result of requests from the membership. Your support play's a vital role in the sustainability of the restaurant. So, come join us for lunch, plan your private events here, and join us for dinner on Friday nights. Dinner reservations may be made by calling 910-327-2410.
